Patrick Brennan Dead.

Saturday morning Patrick Brennan died very suddenly at his home a few miles from Graettinger. All week he had been about as usual but it seems that on Friday he claimed that he was not feeling well. Saturday morning he arose to get breakfast, his brother John going out to do the chores. When the latter had finished he went into the house and found Patrick lying dead on the bed. His death is supposed to have been the result of heart failure. The funeral services were held at the Catholic church at this place Monday. There were many in attendance.

Mr. Brennan was a Irishman by birth and came to the United States when a young man. He settled on a farm in this country about thirty years ago and continued to reside here. He and John were unmarried and lived and worked together. They were quite prosperous and had accumulated considerable property. He was a man of good habits and was strictly honest and thoroughly reliable. He will be missed by all and especially by those who knew and respected him as a friend and neighbor. He was about 60 years of age.
