Dies in Hospital.

Luke Torpey died last Tuesday, of yellow jaundice, in a Chicago hospital. While he had been ill for some, his death nevertheless came very unexpectedly. Mrs. Torpey, mother of the deceased, and her two daughters of Ayrshire started for Chicago, Tuesday, in response to a message telling of his illness, but upon their arrival in Chicago they found that their son and brother was dead. Deceased was a young man, 26 years of age, and had been in Chicago for the past four years working as a shipping clerk in a factory. The funeral was held from the Catholic church at Ayrshire on Friday.
