A New Settler Dies

George Schalley died last Wednesday on the Airhart farm northeast of Rodman. He had been declining for some time. He was a victim of consumption. He came to this county about a month ago. He was married last year to Miss Emma Airhart and they had rented the Airhat place. His remains were taken to Nevada, Iowa for burial.
