Mrs. Matthiesen Services Held at Ruthven

Funeral services for Mrs. Matthiesen, 85, Ruthven, were held at Zion Lutheran Church Monday, the Reverend James Wolfram of Mallard officiating. Burial was in Silver Lake cemetery, Ayrshire.

Mrs. Matthiesen was born in Norway May 20, 1877 and died February 16 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. P. Ricklefs of Ayrshire. Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Ricklefs, Mrs. John Swanson, and Mrs. Isadore Haugh all of Ayrshire, two sons, Fred and Melvin, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Lyle Thompson, of Spencer, Darrell Garrelts of Ayrshire; Mervyn Thompson, Harold Wigdahl, Marvin Wigdahl and Robert Finnegan, all of Ruthven.
