Sister Mary Eugenius Rites Held at Dubuque

Ward was received by Emmetsburg relatives of the death of Sister Mary Eugenius, BVM, 83, of Dubuque, who died Tuesday, January 22, at Marian hall infirmary Dubuque. Funeral services were held January 24 at Regina Mundi chapel in Dubuque.

Sister Mary Eugenius was the former Elizabeth McNulty of Emmetsburg, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Owen McNulty. She taught for several years at St. Ambrose Cathedral school and Visitation School in Des Moines; St. Patrick's school in Dubuque and schools in Chicago, Illinois and San Francisco, California.

She is survived by one brother, Thomas McNulty of Clear Lake, formerly of Emmetsburg. Also surviving are a cousin, Mrs. Ed Schneider of Emmetsburg and many nieces and nephews.
