-- George Freeman, Sr. Drove to Mitchell, S. D. Saturday to attend the funeral of his aunt, Mrs. Sarah Snow. Mrs. Snow is well known here, having visited local relatives a number of times.
-- Mrs. Matt Streit of Algona is here today ( Thursday ) visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Coonan
-- Mrs. John Hammes was called to Mason City Saturday by the illness of her sister, Mrs. Matt Kilroy
