Leona McKee born in 1897 in Blanchard

I'm looking for any information on the birth and family of my grandmother, Leona McKee, born in Blanchard on April 13, 1897. Her father was J.C. McKee (possibly James Cameron) and mother other: Effie McKee(maiden name said to be Williams).

Leona was brought to the Christian Home Orphanage in Council Bluffs on 9 August 1899 and adopted by the James Morton family in November of that year and was later known as Bessie Leona Morton. In 1912, the Mortons moved to Northern Wisconsin, where I now live.

My family didn't know know the details of her birth until we found papers after her death and I'm interested in learning anything about her birth parents and their families.
