In Response To: Searching for genealogy history/clues (Sharri Couch)

I'm looking for my ggrandpa George Shaw's information. The census's say he was born in Ohio. He married 1st Almyra Greenfield,in Illinois raised a family there. Almyra died in the mid 1870's and He married 2nd Matilda(Medaris)Pickleman, in Illinois George Pickleman was her former married spouses surname. George and Matilda moved to Iowa. I know his daughter's name was either A. Louisa Shaw or Louisa A. Shaw she went by the nickname of Lidy. Louisas 2nd husband's name was Oratio Knisley, they lived in Shenandoah page county Iowa. George is the key tho and I'm wondering if he is one of your Shaws on the list you submitted. I would appreciate the favor of a reply. Thanks in advance Gail Harwood
