FUNERAL SERVICES FOR C. W. KEITH HELD

Services and Burial at Inglewood, Calif.: Was Former Resident of Ocheyedan

Funeral services for Charles W. Keith, a former resident of Ocheyedan, and later of 4337 Imperial Highway, Inglewood, Calif., were held Monday, May 1, 1944, in the chapel of the Dunway Funeral home in Hawthorne, Calif. The Rev. W. H. Guilliam of the Four Square Gospel church of Inglewood conducted the services. Mrs. Dunaway, soprano soloist, sang "Saved by Grace" and "Asleep in Jesus." Interment was made in the Inglewood Park cemetery.

Charles W. Keith was born in Eagleville, Mo., January 24, 1872, and departed this life April 28, 1944, at his home in Inglewood, Calif., at the age of 72 years, three months and four days.

In his youth he moved with his parents to Osceola county, Iowa, and was a longtime resident of Ocheyedan, making his home here until 1933, when the deceased and Mrs. Keith moved to California. While a resident of this place he was employed in business places, worked at the trade of a carpenter and was a member of the town council for several years. He was also a member of the local Congregational church.

He was united in marriage to Josephine Wampler November 10, 1902.

Besides a host of friends, Mr. Keith leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted wife, Josephine Keith; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Van Orden, Inglewood, Calif., and Mrs. Rena Sanders, Redfield, S. Dak.; one grandson, Staff Sgt. Keith W. Saunders, U.S.M.C. School Det., Quantico, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
