George Bremmer Obituary - Osceola County Tribune.

A pioneer of Osceola County dropped out of the ranks when George Bremmer died last Saturday morning, aged 77 years. His diseased was a kidney ailment due to age. Mr. Bremmer came to Osceola County and took up a homestead in 1872. He was a native of Hanover, Germany. He came to American about 40 years ago, settling in Sauk County, Wisconsin when he moved to this county. Surviving him are two daughters and a son in middle age, namely: Mrs. Dora Graves of Ocheyedan and Mrs. Kate Richardson and Henry Bremmer of Sibley.

Mr. Bremmer was a member of the German Evangelical Church. His funeral services were held in the M.E. Church Monday afternoon and he was laid to rest in the Sibley cemetary beside his wife, who preceded him to the grave about a dozen years.

Among those who attended the funeral were Earl Bremmer of Carrol, James Bremmer of Goodell, Carl Bremmer of Baker township and Miss Bessie Bremmer of Omaha, Grandchildren of the dead man.
