My grandparents bounced around as my grandfather sought better jobs in the newspaper business. They were married in Storm Lake in 1906. From there they moved to De Witt, (1907) Sioux Rapids, (1907), back to Storm Lake (1909), Union (1910) then Correctionville in 1911 where my 1st uncle was born. There seems to be no more evidence of Marie when my uncle Gerald was born. None of the uncles ever mentioned Marie which is why it was such a surprise when I saw a blurb in the Storm Lake Buena Vista Vidette and the Correctionville News about her. We all are wondering where she came from where did she go? We have zero paperwork to give us any clues.
