Emery Oscar Peters was my grandfather. He was an orphan. He was from Iowa, at least, in the latter preadult life. He was adopted by a man named Capt. Alvin Peters. Records indicate that this occurred in Iowa. He was born about 1880-1882. I do not know for sure if he was on a train, but it certainly seems like a possibility. Any Help Appreciated
