Hello,
we are searching a relative, who emmigrate to USA 1882 (or later). He died around 1935-1940 in the middle-west.
His name was Max Johann Karl Zimmermann, born October 12th 1860 in Dargun/Mecklenburg - Germany.
We definitely know, he owned a farm in a state in the middle-west. So we are searching in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin, but with no succes. His parents were Fritz Zimmermann, born June, 4th 1820 and Ernestine Zimmermann geb. Schöttler, born July 27th 1823. That is all what we know. We need to know the state an/or county, where he lived or where he died.
Can you help us?Thank you

Hello,
may be someone can help us with a may be distant relative?
We need some further information about a Max Zimmerman(n),
who lived in Paullina, O’Brien County, Iowa in 1923 according to a passenger list of the ship S.S.Seydlitz.
He was single, and 63 years old at that date. (Found in Ellis Island records)
His naturalization dated March 11th, 1890, issued by the District Court of Primghar.
Are there some other records (federal censuses, Nara or other) he can be found in and with witch kind of data?
Where did he live or die?
If it is our relative, he was born 1860and died 1940, may be earlier.
Are there some cemetrery records, may be Prairie View Cemetery near Paullina if he staid there?Thank you, and greetings from germany
