Family of Melvin C. Wilkins

I am researching the family of Melvin C. WILKINS who settled in O'Brien County about 1871 and apparently remained there until his death after 1920. Melvin is found in the book, Old Soldiers Who Have Lived in O'Brien County, Iowa Compiled by Geo W. Schee and O.H. Montzheimer 1909, Primghar, IA. Melvin was born on 7 March 1842 in Michigan. His wife was Hannah Matilda RICE and their children were Hattie May, Ira, James,George and Williard. Hattie married Charles William COLBURN, son of Stephen A. COLBURN and Mary Ann PECK, on 28 Jul 1891.

I would like to share information with other researchers of this Wilkins line.
