Margaret Marcella Krumm
Graveside services in memory of Margaret Marcella Krumm were conducted at 11 am Monday. June 11, 2007, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley, Iowa. Pastor Dave Eriksen and Ken VerSteeg officiated Inurnment was in Pleasant View Cemetery. Warner Funeral Home of Hartley was in charge of the arrangements.

Margaret Marcella Krumm, the daughter of William and Margaret (Springman) Slinger was born on July 24, 1918 in Granville, Iowa. The family lived in the rural Primghar area where she also attended school. Following school she worked in different households around the area. On September 15, 1944, Margaret married Raymond Krumm in Paullina, Iowa. Following their marriage, the couple lived in the communities of Primghar and Lake Park until moving to Hartley in 1965. Margaret was a homemaker while Raymond worked as a farmhand for several farmers. Margaret was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley. She also enjoyed playing the piano and gardening. Margaret passed away on June 6, 2007 at the Beehive Assisted Living Home in Sheldon, Iowa at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and three sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Nancy Krumm and her husband, John Ignaitis of Oro Valley, Arizona and Sheryl Janda of Oro Valley, Arizona, one son, Keith Krumm of Sheldon, three grandchildren Stephanie Janda and her husband, Michael Lisboa of San Francisco, California. Monica Ignaitis of Chico, California and Angelika Ignaitis of Oro Valley, Arizona, one sister, Helen Glaser of Hartley, other relatives
and friends.
