I found death record at Familysearch.org/beta for my relative - Armeda [Kelso]Elbert[s]. She was buried 2 Jun 1889 in Ashein IA [unable to find this town-think it's Ashton], DOD 1 Jun 1889, place of death Sheldon IA, age 34, born 1855 in Hardin CO IA, occupation housewife, married [to Amos Elbert with children May, Frank and Ruth]. No cause of death given. From Batch B00685-6, Source Film #1955112, ref Item 2 Vol 1, page 23, cn 291.
Would someone be able to look up her death cert and perhaps an obituary?
