Hi Connie~

I am researching my family history, surnames Tanner/Whitenight. My grandmother was born Lila Fern Tanner on 4/29/1910. Her father, John Tanner, married Rebecca Whitenight, and they had 5 children together before Rebecca passed. John went on to marry again and had another 12 (!!!!) children. During his marriage to Rebecca, they had a son, Charles Oliver Tanner. One of my great aunts has sent me a short family lineage that shows Charles was born on 11/23/1880, and died 12/5/1894 (Archer, O'Brien county, Iowa - Pg 37 #469 - Register of Death). Not sure if this helps you (or not). Would be interested in how / if you are related, and if so, how??
