My family has an invitation to the wedding of John Adam Schuler and Lydia L. Schaefer, held October 4, 1894, in Germantown (Obrien), Iowa. Thereafter this couple had many children in various states, so possibly their only connection to Germantown, Iowa, was the residence of one of them at that time, and the wedding that took place there. I am seeking any documentation that might exist regarding this marriage. Even confirmation that one of the families lived in Germantown in that year would be a great help!
