Pattie Lynn Pippert, the daughter of Verlus and Alice Mae Frerk Pippert, was born July 28, 1954 in Hartley, Iowa. She was baptzed and confirmed, and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. She received her education in Hartley, graduating from high school in 1973. For serveral years, she worked at Red's Cafe and We Care Haven in Hartley.

In 1992, Pattie moved to Spencer, Iowa and begain working at Sunshine Workers, Inc. She enoyed her work, co-workers and staff very much. The CSALA Staff was also very special to her. Pattie enjoed being with her family and friends, and her special inerests were listening to music and watching television and movies.

Patti passed away Tuesday, January 19, 1999 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, at the age of 44. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Verlus and Alice Pippert of Hartley; one sister, Ronda, her brothers Brian and Gary, nephews, a niece and other relatives and friends.
