Longtime Paullina resident Roy Olen died June 7 in Primghar at the age of 77. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 10, at the Gaudian Funeral Home.

Olen was born February 28, 1887. He had lived in the Paullina area most of his life. He was buried in Prairie View Cemetery. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hubert Olen of Iowa City and [sister] Mrs. Roy Ullman of Brookings, South Dakota.
