Services Tuesday For Mrs. Isaac Thompson

Mrs. Isaac Thompson, 76, of Paullina passed away Saturday, June 1 at her home near Paullina. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 4, at the Gaudian Funeral Home at Paullina with Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Pallbearers were Earl Buse, Raymond Buse, Roy Gene Stangeland, Loren Flaugh, Elmer Stangeland and Arthur Henderson. Otis Grosvenor sang two hymns with Mrs. Clarence Hibbing as organist.

Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery near Paullina.

Lillie Thompson, the daughter of Lars and Martha nee Meltvedt Stangeland, was born on January 29, 1898 in O'Brien County, Iowa. She attended the rural schools of this area and spent her youth in this same vicinity.

On June 30, 1920 she was united in marriage to Isaac Thompson. To this union one son was born.

Isaac and Lillie farmed in this area all of their lives. Lillie had a great hand at caring and patience with helping other people.

On Saturday of last week she was suddenly stricken and passed away at her home at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 2 days.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Isaac, one son, Ivan and his wife Carol, two grandchildren, Norren and Mickeal Thompson. She is also, survived by a great host of friends and relatives.
