Mr. and Mrs Jame Mauser were called to the Sioux Valley hospital, Cherokee. Friday, by the serious illness of her father. Fred Koehlmoos of Germantown. who suffered a stroke while doing chores at his farm home.

Services Held for Fred Koehlmoos, 69, Lifelong Resident

Fred Koehlmoos, who has been a lifelong resident of this area, and farmed in Caledonia Township his entire married life, died Friday at Sioux Valley Hospital, in Cherokee. Stricken February 3, he failed to regain complete consciousness and died 14 days later.

Funeral services were held at St. John Lutheran Church at Germantown Monday afternoon at 2:00 with burial in St. John Cemetery. The Rev. Gene Richter officiated at the services with Gaudian Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Orlynn Koehlmoos, Burnell Koehlmoos, Elroy Koehlmoos, Rodney Meyer and Marvin Kuhlmann.

Mrs. Richard Miller was organist. Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Brockmann and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Dau were in charge of flowers.

The deceased is survived by his widow, seven children; Francis, Paullina; Mrs. James Tesch (Shirley) Granville; Verdis, Paullina, Mrs. James Mouser (Phyllis) Granville; Richard, in the armed forces at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; Patricia and Robert at home and 11 grandchildren.
