Services Friday For Mrs. Ida Boesche

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Boesche of Germantown will be held on Friday. April 25 at 2 p m at the St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown. Burial will be in St John Lutheran Cemetery near Germantown with Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Boesche passed away on Tuesday morning, April 22, at the Wide View Rest Home. She was born December 3. 1890.

Services Held Friday for Mrs. [Ida Meyer] Boesche

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Boesche were held Friday. April 25 at St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown. Mrs. Boesche passed away April 22 at the age of 89 years.

Rev. Charles Kramer officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Lorenz Stoever, LeRoy Mueller, Marlin Gries, David Meyer, Leland Koehlmoos and Dennis Gebert. The congregation sang three hymns, accompanied by organist Pam Cullison.

Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery under the care of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home.

Ida Meyer Boesche, the daughter of Hartwig and Sophia nee Strampe Meyer, was born in O'Brien County, Iowa on December 3, 1890. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church of Germantown. On January 28, 1912, she was united in marriage to Fred Boesche. They lived their entire married life in Germantown. On February 26, 1964, her life was saddened by the death of her husband.

The past eight years she made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Harold and Elda Richter. On January 1, 1980, she entered the Wide View Rest Home in Paullina where she passed away on April 22, 1980, reaching the age of 89 years. 4 months and 19 days.

She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters. Mrs. Irma Hummel of Sioux City and Mrs. Harold (Elda) Richter of Paullina; three grandchildren: four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; two brothers and three sisters.
