Friederich Boesche Funeral Services are Saturday.

Friederich Boesche, who came to the United States of America from Germany at the age of 27 and settled in the Germantown Community., died February 26 at the family home in Germantown. He was 84.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the family home and at Saint John Lutheran Church, Germantown, with the Rev. H.C. Bentrup officiating. Gaudian Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Saint John cemetery.

Friederich was born April 14, 1879 in Germany, a son of Diederich and Anna Boesche. He came to the United States in 1906. On January 28, 1912, he was marrried to Ida Meyer. To them were born two daughters. Mr. Boesche spent 48 years working as a carpenter.

Mr. Boesche suffered a heart attack about ten years ago, but recovered from this, spending the past few years enjoying retirement. About one month ago he suffered a stroke, forcing him to be bedfast until the time of his death on Wednesday, February 26. He attained the age of 84 years, 10 months and 12 days.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Ida, two daughters. Mrs. Al Hummel (Irma) of Sioux City and Mrs Harold Richter (Elda) of Paullina. He is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. His parents, six brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
