Services held for Eldon H. Miller

Funeral services for Eldon H. Miller were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 26, 1991, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina, Iowa. Rev. Stephen Kamprath officiated.

The final resting place is [West] Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina, Iowa, under the care of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home.

OBITUARY

Eldon H. Miller, the son of John and Mary Ebert Miller, was born August 23, 1928, in Cherokee County, Iowa. He attended Cherokee County schools and graduated from Cleghorn High School. On September 6, 1951, he was united in marriage to Ruby Rehder in Calumet, Iowa. After their marriage, the couple farmed northeast of Paullina until moving into Paullina in 1980. Eldon continued to farm the family farm. He passed away on Friday, August 23, 1991, at the Baum-Harmon Hospital in Primghar, reaching the age of 63 years.

He was baptized on September 16, 1928, and later confirmed on May 21, 1944, and was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina.

Eldon leaves to cherish his memory his wife. Ruby of Paullina; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristie and Larry Appeldorn of Paullina; four grandchildren: Amy, Jenny, Molly and Jessie Appeldorn; three brothers: Leland and Clifford of Paullina and Vernelle of Sioux City; four sisters: Mrs. Mildred VanDyke, Mrs. Verlie Yockey and Mrs. Vera Stoltze of Sioux City; and Mrs. Veniece Young of Los Altos Hills, California; also a host of other relatives and friends.
