Albert H. Meyer, 78, president of the First National Bank at Paullina since 1935, died Monday at his home after an illness, of several months. He had been in the bank since 1905.

He had been active in Paullina in public affairs for years. He was born near Paullina February 13, 1887 and he had resided in Paullina most of his life.

Mr. Meyer was town councilman for many years, and was town treasurer. He was a member of the board of education for years and he was a charter member of the Lions club.

Mr. Meyer was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and had served the church in many capacities.

Survivors Include the widow, Lillian; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Hartmeister of Aspen, Colo., and Miss Helen Meyer of Paullina and two sons, Harold of Littleton, Colo., and James of Paullina.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church. Rev. Mr. Sohn will officiate and burial will be in Prairie View cemetery in Paullina.

The Gaudian Funeral. Home has charge of arrangements.
