Daryl Einerwold (1943-1988)

Daryl was born Sept 14,1943, to O'Dean and Darlene (Ginger) Einerwold in Primghar. He graduated from Sutherland Community High School in 1961.

He married Elizabeth Powell on Feb. 8,1969, in Sutherland. To this marriage were born three sons.

Daryl was active in Army Reserves in Cherokee for six years. He worked as a maintenance person in O'Brien County Road Department, Spencer, and Spencer Foods, Inc., Spencer. He was a Union Member at Spencer.

He enjoyed hunting and sports. He died Dec. 1,1988, in Country Side Estates, Cherokee.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother — Dennis; and grandparents. Survivors include his wife; three sons, David, Chad and Zachary, all of Alta; one brother, Gary and wife, Shirley, Cherokee; and his step-mother, Mrs. Betty Einerwold, Sutherland.

Private services for Daryl L. Einerwold, 45, Alta, were held Dec. 5 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Alta. Rev. John Chadwick officiated. Jones-Barker Funeral Home, Alta, was in charge of arrangements. Cremains were entrusted to the care of his immediate family.
