Sheldon, Iowa -- Mrs. Donald Brouwer, 58, of Sheldon died Sunday in Upland, California.

Services will be at 1:30 pm Frieday in the Sanborn Christian Reformed Church in Sanborn. The Rev. Stuart Pastine and Duane Vedders will officiate. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon. Family visitation at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sheldon.

Mrs. Brouwer, the former Wilhelmina Van Beek, was born September 4, 1925 in Melvin. She married Donald Brouwer November 13, 1943 in Bellflower, California. They farmed in the Sheldon area.

She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church of Sanborn and the Ladies Bible Study.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Dennis of Ashton; two daughters, Mrs. Dan (Darla) Noteboom of Wakefield, Nebraska, and Mrs. Curtis (Debra) DeBoer of Sioux Center; three sisters, Mrs. Lambert (Jeanette) Sterk of Sheldon, Mrs. John (Joan) DeBie of Chino, California, and Mrs. Jim (Julia) Frazier of La Habra, California; four brothers, John of Ontario, California, Henry of Ashton, Wilbur of Hartley and Roger of Sanborn and six grandchildren.
