Graveside services in memory of Edith Schoelerman were held Friday, August 16, 1991, at Lone Tree Cemetery of Everly with Pastor Duane Baun officiating. Committal Service was in Lone Tree Cemetery, with Baumgarten Funeral Home of Hartley in charge of arrangements.

Edith Ward Schoelerman, the daughter of Edgar and Lizzie Wynn Ward, was born September 9, 1899, at Albany, Missouri. She had lived at Jewell, Iowa, and then for the last sixty-eight years at Spencer and Everly, Iowa.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church at Everly, and for many years was a bookkeeper and saleslady for Cook Cleaners in Spencer. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a terrific woman.

She passed away at Mann Wing in Hartley on August 13, 1991, at the age of 91. Preceding her in death were he parents, her husband, Reim, and one son, Vernon Loder.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters and their husbands, Mildred and Gerald Nelson of Spencer, and June and Lloyde Lubensky of Northridge, California; one son and his wife, Bill and Corrine Loder of Hartley; thirteen grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren; one sister, Sylvia Ayers of Jewell, Iowa, as well as other relatives and friends.
