MRS. JOHN F. KRUSE PASSES AWAY TUESDAY

Death Comes After Lingering Illness; Funeral Service Will Be Friday

Mrs. John F. Kruse passed away here Tuesday at 12:45 o'clock after a lingering illness for many months. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, weather permitting. She is survived by her husband and three children. The children are Mrs. Louis Warnke, Mrs. Edgar Brockman and Truman Kruse.

Deceased was born in Tama county, October 20th, 1875, and had reached the age of 60 years. The cause of her death was chronic myocarditis. A complete obituary will be printed in the Times next week.

After a lingering Illness of many months Mrs. J. F. Kruse passed away at her home in Paullina last Tuesday, February 25, 1936, at about one o'clock, Mrs. Kruse reached the age of 60 years, 4 months and five days.

Mrs. Kruse was born, October 20. 1875 in Tama county, Iowa, and later moved into the neighborhood of Calumet where she grew up to young womanhood.

She was 25 when she became the wife of Mr. Kruse having married on March 7th, 1900, at Calumet. Their Joint life was therefore 35years, 11 months and 18 days. Three children were born to this union, Ella, the wife of Mr. Louis Warnke, Truman, and Rosetta, the wife of Mr. Edgar Brockmann, all of Paullina,

The Kruses farmed in various parts of O'Brien county, their last experience was at Germantown. In 1928 they retired from the farm and moved to town and have lived now in Paullina nearly eight years.

While living at Germantown they became members of St. John's Lutheran church and when they moved to town they Joined Zlon Lutheran church of Paullina. Mrs. Kruse was also a member of Zlon Lutheran Ladies Aid.

For the past several years Mrs. Kruse was falling In health, but only since last fall has she been confined to her bed. She rallied often, but gradually lost ground. For several weeks it was clear to her that she could not recover. She was resigned to her fate and prayed for deliverance. Her end came quietly at noon, February 25th. 1936. Interment was made Saturday afternoon in Prairie View cemetery at Paullina.

The mourners are her sorrowful husband, J. F. Kruse, her children, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Warnke and three children. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Kruse and one child. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Brockmann and four children, besides these many relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held from the Zlon Lutheran church with the Rev. J. Hartmeister, officiating. The Times extends its sincere sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives in their hour of sorrow
