E. A. Chase, 25 Years a Paullina Businessman, Dies Tuesday Morning

E. A. "Ed" Chase, 70, a Paullina businessman for a quarter century and one of the town's oldest residents, died Tuesday morning about 7 o'clock at the hospital in Primghar

He came to Paullina in 1883 Mr. Chase had been in poor health for some time but managed to remain active in the operation of his service station here until in October when he went to the hospital. His condition failed to improve.

Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Paullina business places will be closed during the service.
