Funeral services for Dewitt Dever Hupp were held in St Mark Lutheran church In Storm Lake on Sept 23, 1977, at 1 p. m. with Rev. Richard Lehmann officiating.

Organist was Donadee Nicholson, and vocalist was Diane Ekstam. Bearers were Dale Young, Ralph R. Ryan. Dean Hupp. Charles Mellick. Ben Ryan, and Ted Haahr. Honorary bearers were Clyde B. Roe, Darrell Cooper, Don Eulberg, Ray Francois. Donald Dudley, B. E. Lane, and Bruce Kinrade.

Burial was in Prairie View cemetery In Paullina. under the direction of Sliefert funeral home.

Dewitt was born on June 13, 1900, to Hannah and W. S. Hupp in Bloomfield, Neb. He graduated from Bloomfield high school. He married Martha K Boysen on Sept 8, 1923.

Mr. Hupp was employed for two years with Chicago Motor Coach Company, and 45 years with St. Anthony and Dakota Co., now known as Great Plains Supply with retail yards in six states. He served as local manager, credit manager, and district supervisor in Creighton and Laurel, Neb., Winthrop, Manchester, Northwood, and Marion, Great Falls, Mont., Brookings, S. D, and St. Paul and Austin, Minn.

Upon retiring in 1970 he was in Ill health. Mr. and Mrs. Hupp moved to Storm Lake in 1974 and became members of St. Mark Lutheran church. DeWitt passed away on Sept. 20, 1977, in the Methodist Manor in Storm Lake.

Mr. Hupp leaves to mourn his wife, Martha, son, T. Sgt. Robert Dee Hupp USAF, five grandchildren, two brothers, and one stepbrother, and many nieces and nephews
