Shirley Ann Miller, the daughter of Bob and Francis Peters, was born October 13, 1943 in Hartley, IA. She attended school in Hartley. Shirley was baptized & confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hartley.

Shirley married Robert Miller on December 21, 1960.

She enjoyed working at the Sutherland Nursing Home as a CAN. Shirley left employment there to work with her husband during harvest and working with the cows and calves.

Later in life, she enjoyed card club and the birthday club. Her kindness, laughter, and humor were enjoyed by everyone.

Shirley passed away at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley, IA on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the age of 77.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter-in-law, Barbra.

She is survived by her children: Rodney Miller of Salina, Kansas, Darla (Randy Scheff) Beatty of Trimont, MN and Rich (Donna) Miller of Sutherland, IA; five grandchildren: John, Richelle, Zacharian, Mike, JoAnn; one great grandchild, Evelyn; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 25, 2021 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Sutherland.

Visitation will begin 4:00 P.M., Thursday, June 24th with the family present from 4 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Sutherland. Waterman Cemetery Sutherland, Iowa is her final resting place.
