While playing around the house last Saturday, little Ida Scheldorf, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Scheldorf, residing in Baker Township, swallowed a common button and all efforts to remove it from the trachea were of no avail and on Sunday, the suffocation was so severe that the little sufferer choked to death.

Arrangements were made to hold the funeral services in the German language Monday, but, being unable to do so, Rev. Caldwell conducted the services, for which kindly aid the unfortunate parents desire to extend to him their heartfelt thanks.
