Funeral services for A.C. Fintel of Paullina were held Tuesday morning, March 16 at 11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church. Rev. Roger Tappmeyer of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in [West]Prairie View Cemetery.

Adolph C. [Charles] Fintel, the son of Herman and Anna Fintel, was born on June 27, 1882 at Durant, Iowa. He came to O'Brien County with his parents and received his education in the Paullina Schools. Following his education he worked with his father on a farm near here. A.C., as he was known by most people, served as a director of the local bank for about thirty-five years. He served as township trustee for about twenty-five years. A.C. was also one of the finest metal and wood lathe operators.

In June of 1945 he was united in marriage to Inez Frederichs. Inez passed away in 1961. A.C. had been in the Primghar Hospital for about two weeks and passed away in the hospital on Friday of last week at the age of 88 yeas, 8 months and 14 days.

He leaves to mourn his passing his sister, Ella, of Paullina, and his brother, Art, of Paullina. He is also survived by three nephews. His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
