Laura Mary Fintel, 63, died at her farm home near Paullina January 14 with funeral services being held Monday afternoon. Services were held at the Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock with Rev. L.R. Middents officiating. Interment followed at Prairie View Cemetery.

Laura Mary Fintel was born near Dysart, Tama County, Iowa on October 26, 1885. She was one of six children born to Herman and Anna Fintel. In 1886, the parents moved to Gladbrook in the same county. In 1888 they moved to Paullina where she spent her childhood and attended the public schools. The remainder of her life was spent at her farm home.

She is survived by one sister, Ella, and four brothers, Harry, Henry, Arthur and A.C. Fintel. Also three nephews and several distant relatives.

Cousins attending the funeral from out of town were: Mrs. Frank Gregor, Mrs. Ida Hanson, and Mr. and Mrs. Hesse Hanson, all of Iona, Minnesota.
