Mrs. Emma Kimes passed away at the home of her son, Ed Kimes Tuesday evening at about 6:30, heart trouble and other complications being the immediate cause of death. Mrs. Kimes was 68 years old. She had maintained her own home in Moneta until a month ago when she was taken sick, and since then she has been cared for at the home of her son.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home Friday at 2 o'clock. A complete obituary will be given next week. [Not found.]

A large number of old friends attended the funeral of Mrs. Emma Kimes Friday. Burial was made in the Hartley cemetery.
