Mrs. Theo. Bruns died at the St. Joseph hospital in Sioux City Monday as the result of a serious operation which was performed Thursday. She was taken to the hospital Monday of last week. She had been able, up to the time of leaving, to attend to her home work and although in poor health had been in the best of spirits. At four o'clock Monday she sank into unconsciousness and at five o'clock passed away.

Besides her husband she leaves five sons to mourn her death.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruns had recently purchased a home in East Addition and had been busy making improvements to make it comfortable and attractive. She had spent much time here and at the farm where two of her unmarried sons were living, making both hpmes cheerful by her love nnd labor.

Until her health failed her she was a regular attendant at the Presbyterian church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday. The family have the sympathy of all in their great sorrow.
