Miss Dessie Jacobs, 83, of Paullina, Iowa, passed away September 9, 1971 at the Holy Spirit Retirement Home after a short illness.

Miss Jacobs was born in Paullina, Iowa, Nov. 3, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Jacobs, and was a resident there until recently.

She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church of Paullina.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father and a brother, John Jacobs, who died January 4, 1971.

Surviving miss Jacobs are cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 11 in Gaudian's Funeral Home. Burial was in the Prairie View Cemetery at Paullina.

Rev.Robert Hickman of the Presbyterian church officiated at the services. Pall bearers were Clyde Maytum, Dan Struve, Darrell Peters, Manlo Ebel, Forrest West and Merle Ihle.
