Death of an Old Railroader.
George W. Sanborn, for whom the town of Sanborn, O’Brien county, was named, died at Los Angeles, Cal., Feb. 4. He was first superintendent of the Iowa and Dakota division of the Milwaukee road when it was built through Charles City and continued in the position for about twenty years.
