Joseph Schwebach, the son of Lewis and Anna Roth Schwebach was born November 12, 1912 in Granville, Iowa. He received his education in Granville area schools. He moved with his family to the Paullina area where for many years he was employed at the Paullina Tile Factory.

He moved to Primghar in 1965 where he has resided until entering the Marian Health Center in Sioux City and passing away on Saturday, June 1, 1991, reaching the age of 78 years, 6 months and 19 days. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Primghar.

Joe is survived by several stepbrothers and sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held for Joseph Schwebach on Monday, June 3 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Primghar. Rev. Anthony Pick officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Jim Wagner, Joe Stoll, Dave Stoll, Herb Schueller, Bill Wagner, and Joe Sikora. Music was provided by the St. Anthony Church Choir. Mrs. Toni Bart was organist. Lector was Bill Thompson. Final resting place is in Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina. Arrangements were under the care of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home.
