Mrs. Walter L. Jenkins, 89, 118 Cecilia St., died Monday in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home. Elder Glen Fod of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Mrs. Jenkins, the former Lottie C. Leonard, was born December 12, 1892, in Primghar, Iowa. She married Walter Jenkins May 28, 1909, in Cherokee, Iowa. They came to Sioux City in 1938. He died Nov 22, 1954, in Sioux City. She had made her home with her daughter for 22 years, until her health failed.

Survivors include two sons, Leo W. of Sioux City and Marvin W. of Hubbard, Neb.; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Charlotte) Frazier of Sioux City and Mrs. John (Leona) Strope of Portland, Ore.; 22 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.
