Hans C. Sorensen January 3, 2017 age 88 years, born near Clear Lake, IA. Son of the late Chris and Petra. Preceded in death by his wife Marla (Nee Brouwer). Loving husband of Beth (Nee Rice). Beloved father of Daniel (Marveen), Robert (Yolanda Vanderlaan) and stepfather to Anne, Jane (Bob), and Dan. Loving grandfather to Tara (Dustin), Jill (Matt), Michael, Natalie Robin, Brendan Marc, Joe (Jen), Kevin, Katie (Enrique), Lauren, John, Ellen (Ben), Kerry, and great grandfather to Hayden, Catalina and Selah. Brother of Edith Skene and preceded in death by his siblings: Olga, Verner, Thorvald,Irvin, Helen, and Francis. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Hans was a teacher, coach and principal at Primghar Community School and principal of Paullina Community School. Hans attended Iowa State Teachers College (UNI) where he excelled at football. Visitation will be held Saturday Jan. 7, 2017 at Schmidt & Bartelt funeral home in Menomonee Falls from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
