NEVA CARLSON 1911 — 1997
Neva Carlson, daughter of Joseph L. and Katherine (Wilstumphf) Warner, was born on August 7.1911 in Sheldon. Iowa where she lived her youth and attended country school.
She was united in marriage to Einar O. Carlson of Marvin, S.D. on August 18,1928 at Summett, S.D. They farmed northwest of Sheldon. Neva worked for many years at the Standard Cafe in Sanborn, la.
Einar died March 8,1991. Neva died on January 30, 1997 at Prairie View Home in Sanborn at the age of 85 years, five months and 19 days.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Marvin Reintsma of Sheldon: eight grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren- five great-great-frandchUdren: one brother and sister-in-law. Junior and Muriel Warner of Grass Valley. Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Einar; one daughter, Fern Alons; one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter; two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held February 1 at the United Methodist Church in Sheldon with Rev. Roger Henry officiating. Casket bearers were Tom Fischer, Jamln Grifiloen. Scott Griflloen. David Kreck, Bob Meenderlng and Todd Van Beck. Dyan Sterk sang "Because He Lives" and "Beyond the Sunset" Congregational hymn was "How Great Thou Art" Barb Bums was organist. Burial was In Roseland Cemetery, Sanborn with Sheldon Funeral Service in charge.
