Verona Mildred (Ehrich) Behrens was born on Sunday; April 9, 1916 in Elmore; Faribault County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of: William and Elizabeth Ehrich. Verona attended the Saint John Parochial School and was confirmed into the Lutheran Church on Sunday; May 11, 1930 at the Saint John's Lutheran Church in Elmore, Minnesota.

On July 10, 1938 Verona Ehrich was united in marriage to Norwald Herman Behrens at St. John's in Elmore, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with four children. Verona was an active participant in her community and church.

Verona Mildred (Ehrich) Behrens, age: 97, passed away on Monday; September 2, 2013 in Phoenix; Maricopa County, Arizona. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her three children: [redacted], along with her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Verona was preceded in death by her husband, her eldest son: Gene, her parents and her three brothers. May they rest in peace. May God bless her memory and give strength to those that mourn.

Interment will be at the Prairie View Cemetery in Paulina, Iowa.
