Mrs. Milton Gibbs, who had been ill only a short time, became criti­cally ill last Friday and was taken to the Community hospital at Shel­don where she succumbed early Saturday morning, January 16. Funeral services were held Mon­day morning, January 18 at 10:3Burial in Roseland Cemetery.

Louise Standfield Gibbs, daughter of Charles and Serilda Stanfield, was born in Boons Burrow, [sic] Kentucky, on August 8, 1892. She lived in Jefferson. Iowa, the early part of her life. In 1912 she moved to Sanborn, Iowa

She was united in marriage to Mr Milton Gibbs on July 10, 1913, in Onawa, Iowa. They had four children. Gwneth, Rillie, Bertrum, and Bonnie.

Mr and Mrs Gibbs united with the First Presbyterian Church of Sanborn, Iowa, on June 2, 1935. Mrs. Gibbs passed away on January 16, 1960, after a short illness, at the age of 67 years, 5 months, and 8 days.

Preceding her in death were her mother and father. Surviving are her husband, Milton, three daughters, Gwneth [Mrs. Leonard Jurgens] of Hartley; Rillie [Mrs Dee Hopwood] of Denver, Cola; Bonnie [Mrs. Gayle Raymond], and one son, Bertrum Gibbs; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Dora Pramer, of Clear Lake, one brother-in-law, two nieces; and one nephew.

Mr and Mrs Henry Meyer, Storm 1 ake; Bertha Keifer, Spencer, Mrs Charles Sexton, Spencer; Mr and Mrs Louis Voss, Mr and Mrs Emil Leth, Mr and Mrs Herb Leth, Mr and Mrs Glenn Reinke, Mrs Dave Boles, Mrs Arvel Balliet, Mrs Gene Under, Mrs Virgil Lage, Mrs Bill Goering, Mrs Bud Steinmetz, Mrs Bob Hoper, Mrs Bill Vizina, Mrs W C Robinson, all of Hartley. Mr and Mrs Jack Jones and Mrs Dean Raymond of Sioux City; Mr and Mrs AI Leth, Melvin.
