CLEM RIEDEMANN KILLED IN ACTION

Mother Here is Notified of His Death; Family in Minnesota

Pvt. Clemens Riedemann, son of Mrs. Ernest Voss of Paullina was killed in action on the Western Front, according to a telegram from the War Department Tuesday. It was recently reported that he was missing in action in Europe.

Pvt. Riedemann was serving in the U.S. Infantry and joined the armed forces from his home at Minnesota City, Minn., where his wife and six children reside. He went overseas about October 15, 1944.

Clemens was formerly a resident of Paullina and is well known here. While here, he was interested in music and played with dance orchestras. Mr. and Mrs. Voss and Mr. and Mrs. Vernelle Riedemann left Wednesday for Minnesota City to spend several days with the family of the deceased. The Times joins the many friends here in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
