SADIE NEESE STAUFFER

Sadie Neece Stauffer, was born in Union County Pennsylvania in 1856, and passed away on March 18, 1932 at her home in Portland, Oregon. In 1876 she moved to Sanborn, Iowa where she lived until 1881.

In 1878 she was married to Harry Moyer of Sanborn. To this union two children were born, John who resides in Portland, Oregon and Mary, who died when five years old.

In 1896 she was united in marriage to Enos Stauffer and resided with him in Chicago, Ill., until 1922, when they moved to Oregon, where she resided until she was called by death.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Enos Stauffer, her son John and wife, one brother, J. B. Neece of Minneapolis, Minnesota, besides, distant, relatives and a host of friends.

Mrs.Stauffer joined the Methodist Episcopal Church while residing in Sanborn and throughout the years has been a faithful member, and attendant of the church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist Church with Rev. Stanworth in charge.

Interment in Roseland Cemetery.
