Obituary

Nellie Mehren was born at Orange City, Iowa, January 15,1882, where she resided until the year 1890 when she moved with her parents to Marion Junction, S. D. Her mother died at that place Jnly, 17, 1894 since which time she has been cared for by her brother Henry. She was a devout christian all her life.

She died at Yankton, S. D. Sunday morning at 6 o'clock, Feb. 20, 1910, after a short illness.

She is survived by a father, one brother and two sisters, the father and sisters, Gertrude Mehren and Mrs. Madge Parson residing at Los Angeles, Cal., her brother Henry at this place.

Funeral servires were held at the home of her brother, Thursday afternoon, Rev. C. G. Butler of the Presbyterian church officiating The remains were laid to rest at Roseland cemetery.
