Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Fox were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist church and interment was in the Hartley cemetery. Mrs. Fox, 58, died Wednesday evening following a lingering illness.
The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Flint, who have preceded her in death.
Estella M. Flint was born in Wesport Township, Dickinson county, Iowa December 22, 1883. Her grade schooling was attained in Westport township and later she attended the Hartley high school. She joined the Methodist church early in life and was faithful in this faith to the end.
She was united in marriage to Walter G. Fox on January 2, 1903. Following their marriage, they made their home on a farm near Wallace, Iowa. To this union was born two children, Orville W. who preceded his mother in death in December 194, and Ruth Ione, now Mrs. Frank Anthony of Hartley.
Mrs. Fox leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Walter and her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Anthony, and 3 grandchildren. There are also two sisters. Mrs O.M. Cummings of Hartley and Mrs. Nellie Larson of Spencer and 2 brothers, Mr. Geo. Flint of Kalispell, Mon., and Mr. Clyde Flint of Billings, Montana.
